Philippe Coutinho will improve one key area of his game at Barcelona - Burley

PHILIPPE COUTINHO has been backed by former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley to make an instant impact at Barcelona.

The Brazil international arrived in Spain last night after Liverpool agreed a deal with Barcelona worth £142million.

He is expected to be in attendance for the match against Levante later this afternoon.

And he could make his debut as early as next Thursday when Barcelona host Celta Vigo in the Copa Del Rey.

Coutinho’s departure will be a huge blow to Liverpool who are still battling for a Champions League spot.

He had scored 12 goals in 20 games through the current campaign and was on course for his best tally at Anfield.
