Chelsea vs Barcelona: Eden Hazard fears ‘trouble’ if Chelsea don’t do this

CHELSEA forward Eden Hazard has warned of “trouble” unless his side can shut out Barcelona tomorrow (7.45pm).

Chelsea would be in a good position to progress to the last eight of the Champions League if they can stop Barcelona from scoring an away goal at Stamford Bridge. 

Hazard will be tasked with doing the damage at the other end and he is aware of the need to take any chances that fall his way if the Blues are to win. 

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Belgian said: “We need to defend as a team, if we don’t then we are in trouble. 

“It is right to play our football. We like the ball and when we have it we need to score goals.”

It is, arguably, the biggest fixture of the season so far for Chelsea and Hazard expects a stiff test against Barcelona.

“I think all of the games are difficult,” he said. “When you play in the Champions League it is more than difficult. 

“This season Barcelona are one of the best in the world. 

“We will give everything in both games.”

The Barcelona clash kicks off a huge week for Chelsea, who travel to Manchester United for a Premier League showdown on Sunday (2.05pm).

Hazard acknowledges the pressure is building but he believes Chelsea have nothing to fear. 

“Like I said we play football, we are Chelsea and the champions of England,” he added.
